Below are procedures that will keep our classroom safe and healthy.

MASKS:

All students are required to wear a mask when inside the building. An extra mask should be packed in a ziplock bag in the backpack.

Mask Breaks:

To ensure students are both happy and healthy during the school day, I will be holding Mask Breaks 3x a day. During Mask Breaks, I will read a book to the children while sitting OUTSIDE without masks on. Each child will have a carpet spot with their number on it. Your child will only use the carpet spot assigned to them.

DOT SPOTS:

Each child will be assigned a number and a dot spot color. ONE child from each group has a pink, yellow, blue or green dot. ONLY students with a Pink Dot Spot can sit at the PINK table spot and chair. This will reduce the number of interactions students have with each other during small group rotations.

IF a child with a Pink Dot Spot becomes sick, all Pink Dot Spot children will be notified. Green, blue and yellow Dot Spots would not be as high-risk due to the color coding system.

Outdoor Lessons:
Each child will have a TV Table Tray with their Dot Spot color. We will learn outside whenever possible. PLEASE APPLY SUNSCREEN EVERY MORNING.

I kindly request all parents fill out the COVID survey to indicate if your child CAN take their mask off when learning outside, or CANNOT.

Washing Hands:

Students will have a water-proof stamp placed on their hands before eating lunch. Students can only begin eating once the stamp is fully washed away with soap and water.  Students will use hand sanitizer before beginning every lesson, using the bathroom and entering.
